The 28,000DWT dual-phase stainless steel tanker has the length of 177m, breadth of 27.5m and depth of 14m. It is equipped with 12 cargo tanks, double bottom and double skin, single engine and single slurry, as well as conventional power propulsion system. It is suitable to carry class II and III chemicals and refined oil products. It successfully breaks through the dual-phase stainless steel welding process test. In the construction process, the welding deformation control and precision control of dual-phase stainless steel and other technical difficulties have been successively overcome, especially the use of dual-phase stainless steel material is unique to achieve material utilization rate of more than 99%.
