2019 China International Maritime Exhibition 

On December 3 to 6, This year, the world's most influential and large-scale maritime professional exhibition-2019 China International Maritime Technology Conference and Exhibition (MARINTEC CHINA), boasted as the vane of the development of international marine technology, was held in New International Expo Center in Shanghai.

After 40 years of development, China International Maritime Exhibition has become the world's largest and most influential exhibition brand in the maritime field. It played an important role in showing the latest achievements in maritime technology development, promoting international maritime cooperation and exchanges, and advancing the development of the world's shipping, and port industries. This exhibition has an exhibition area of more than 90,000 square meters, the largest in history, with a total of 2,200 exhibitors from more than 30 countries and regions.

Entered the exhibition with a variety of star ships

At this year's maritime exhibition, Wuhu Shipyard brought a variety of high-end ship types, including duplex stainless steel chemical tankers, LNG hybrid power, MPV, ro-ro, platform supply, and oil recovery vessels, with smart, energy-saving and environmentally friendly shipbuilding concepts and attracted industry attention.


The gathering of Chinese and foreign businessmen with fruitful negotiations

During the exhibition, the booth of W4E65 of Wuhu Shipyard gathered many well-known shipowners from Germany, Sweden, Finland, Japan, Singapore, and China with fruitful negotiations.

At 09:40 on December 4th, Wuhu Shipyard and Wartsila signed advance contract packages for four 5800DWT MPV and three 7,000DWT RO-LO.


Sign a ship development agreement

with ABS and Odely

At 10:30 on December 4th, Wuhu Shipyard signed a tripartite agreement with ABS and Odely. According to the agreement, the three parties will jointly develop and design a 5,000CUM LPG, and ABS will provide standard certification services. ABS vice president Paul said that one of the design highlights of this ship is to use LPG as a propulsion fuel and allow LPG to be burned. This also shows that in the face of increasingly stringent maritime regulations, LPG has gradually become an alternative marine fuel for shipping companies.

Sign a classification agreement

with DNV-GL

At 15:30 on December 4th, Wuhu Shipyard signed a classification agreement with DNV-GL for a 5,800DWT MPV and a 7,000DWT RO-LO.

Improve quality and efficiency

Along with the structural adjustment of the international shipping market, shipbuilding technology is also continuously progressing and innovating, and intelligence, energy saving and environmental protection have become the future development direction.

In recent years, Wuhu Shipyard has been innovating, improving quality and increasing efficiency, actively improving its research and development capabilities and product intelligence. With first-class shipbuilding quality and delivery efficiency, it has successfully completed 28,000DWT special-coated duplex chemical tankers and 28,000DWT  duplex stainless steel chemicals. It successively undertook a series of orders  of 22,000DWT LNG, 6600DWT duplex stainless steel chemical tankers, 5800DWT MPV, and 7000DWT RO-LO, successfully entering high-end market of global shipbuilding value chain.
