In this lively scene, there is a work station that is particularly eye-catching. I saw two mechanical arms under the "Longmen" draw beautiful arcs in the air. The positioning is accurate, and the welding is carried out in an orderly and efficient manner. Meanwhile, many workers were not seen in the work station. Only two workers were staring at the computer screen and typing instructions from time to time by hitting the mouse.

"Clean action and superb skills", this is the latest "smart craftsman" introduced by Wuhu Shipyard-two sets of group automatic welding robot system with visual intelligent recognition function.

The intelligent robot welding production line has an automatic identification system for workpieces. Without manual intervention, it can automatically identify welding workpieces, automatically track welds, and one-click operation to realize fully automatic intelligent welding based on knowledge base. The degree of intelligence and The ease of use greatly exceeds the existing international assembly welding system.

Xiao Li, an on-site worker, said that after the "gantry" intelligent robot welding line was put into operation, it greatly improved the production efficiency of small parts of the hull. With the same workload, only two people were needed for the two robot lines, while manual welding needs more than 10 people are required. At the same time, the robot line can work 24 hours a day without downtime, with high operating efficiency and high welding quality.

It is believed that this is another important attempt by WS in intelligent manufacturing since WS built and put into operation the first set of multi-table, discrete non-standard component automatic welding workstations in the domestic shipbuilding industry last September. This is the specific deployment of the implementation of the national action plan, which is "Advancing Intelligent Transformation of Ship Assembly Construction from 2019 to 2021."
