Anhui Provincial Federation of trade unions came to our company to investigate the work of trade unions and women workers

On December 4, Zhang Liping , the director of the women's Department of Anhui Federation of trade unions, Wei faming ,the director of the provincial defense industry trade union, Cao Jinping ,the Secretary of the Party group and vice chairman of the Wuhu Federation of trade unions, Li Xiaohong , the vice chairman and other 5 leaders, came to our company to investigate the work of the trade union and female workers; Pan Yuhong, deputy secretary of the Party committee of the company, Wu Xiuhua, chairman of the trade union, and Jiang huanxiang, former chairman of the trade union, accompanied the investigation.

First of all, the research group went into the exhibition hall of the 120th Anniversary development history of the company. Wu Xiuhua, chairman of the trade union, introduced the 120 year development history of the company. As the only shipyard inspected by Chairman Mao, the company has received the concern and support of the party and state leaders. The development history of Wuhu shipyard and the four development strategic stages of the navy are advancing simultaneously, in accordance with the strategy of steadily development "solid military products, strong civilian products and win non ships". Subsequently, the research group visited the joint workshop, slipway, wharf and other places to learn more about the production and labor protection of employees.

After the  investigation on the spot, the research group held a forum on women workers' representatives. Chairman Wu Xiuhua gave a brief report on the company's production situation and strategic planning. Through some product cases, he introduced that the product quality and shipbuilding speed were in the lead among the same shipyards. In particular, the chemical tanker made a brand of Wuhu shipyard. At present, there are sufficient orders , and it is one of the rare enterprises in China to operate two shifts for 24 hours. At the same time, he mainly reported the work of the company's labor union and women's Committee.

As a century old enterprise, trade union organization was established as early as 1949. It always attaches great importance to mass work. It has done a lot of work in the worker representative meeting system, the construction of industrial workers' team in the new era, the interests of employees, and the warm heart project. It has been supported and affirmed by the Provincial Federation of trade unions, provincial defense trade unions and Municipal Federation of trade unions.

Deng Shuo, director of the women workers Committee of the company, introduced to the research group the work development of the company's female employees, reported the implementation of the special provisions on labor protection for female employees, and said that the company always cares about the work and life of female employees, especially the "March 8" women's Day activities and "June 1" parent-child activities carried out regularly every year. At the forum, we exchanged views on the problems of marriage and love among older youth, skills training for female workers, and national policy subsidies for giving birth to a second child. We hope that the state can provide policy support from the aspects of social security and trade union sympathy, such as balancing work and family, female workers' childbirth, family responsibility bearing, female workers' physical and mental health, etc.

Finally, Zhang Liping, Minister of the women's Department of the Provincial Federation of trade unions, said that women workers shoulder the responsibilities of family and work, and also shoulder the burden of raising the next generation of the motherland. It is a long-term policy of the party and the state to care for female workers. The purpose is to ensure the interests of female workers and give full play to the role of women workers. For women workers' training and other issues of concern, we will further sort out and evaluate them and incorporate them into the annual ten practical work plans of the Provincial Federation of trade unions. We will also actively convey the voice of women workers to the government, and strive for security policies on hot issues such as "dare not to have a second child."

She said that Wuhu shipyard, as a leading shipbuilding enterprise in Anhui Province, is at the forefront of the industry in terms of production operation and trade union work, and has done a lot of work in the protection of female employees, hoping to continuously raise standards in the protection of women workers' interests, such as post arrangement, health and welfare, exclusive physical examination, etc.; the Provincial Federation of trade unions will support the National Defense Trade Union and the Municipal Federation of trade unions to support the company to create advanced and typical models, and actively supports the company's labor union to carry out female workers' lecture hall, sunshine mother and baby room, and spiritual post station, so as to jointly do a good job of "delivering carbon in the snow and icing on the cake" for the development of the enterprise and the interests of employees. It is hoped that the trade union will continue to play its mass base and advantages and make new contributions to the realization of high-quality development of the enterprise.
