On July 17-18, Wuhu Shipyard held a two-day mid-2021 work review meeting. By comprehensively summarizing the business performance of each business sector of the Shipyard in the first half of the year, it accurately analyzes the internal and external situation, deeply dissects its own shortcomings, and clearly points out the work orientation and business objectives in the second half of the year. The Shipyard will deal with various potential risks and challenges on the way forward, strengthen faith and open a new situation for the second half of the year. More than 50 participants from Group leaders, Shipyard Management and Division managers attended in the meeting.
During the meeting, it pointed out that the overall business momentum of the Shipyard is good in the first half of the year. All Centers and Divisions closely adhere to the annual business policy of transformation and upgrading, mechanism optimization, balanced production, improvement of quality and efficiency, and take advantage of the industry recovery trend to steadily consolidate the business capacity. The completion rate of operating revenue, operating cash flow and overall output value was 125%, 113% and 102%, respectively. In the second half of the year, the core business strategies such as product layout, system construction, innovation and development, and equity restructuring will be further optimized.
it stressed in the meeting that the core competition of the current shipbuilding industry is the improvement of the whole process construction cycle management system. Rapid response to market changes, continuous shortening of construction cycle, improvement of initial design capacity and joint R & D and marketing planning, which are all keys to maintain the long-term competitiveness of the Shipyard. We should closely follow the general direction of the strategic pace of the "14th five year plan", lay out the Shipyard's five-year strategic plan, take the initiative to expand the domestic production base by adjusting the method, and set up a new construction pattern of tripartite confrontation. Practice the market and user demand-oriented development concept, and deepen the full coverage of modern shipbuilding mode. Build excellent products and strengthen talent echelon.
The meeting held that the core of Wuhu Shipyard's steady development from survival goal in the past to development goal today, from passive operation to active marketing, from single problem-solving to improving the core business capability, is to define its position and prevent and control risks. In the second half of the year, the Shipyard will focus on team standardization construction, project operation mechanism optimization, cost management, and process efficiency improvement strategies to further enhance the Shipyard's core competitiveness. Comprehensively focus on the strategy of China's maritime power, and grasp the "spring" of the industry.
On the occasion of the centennial of the founding of the Communist Party of China, Wuhu Shipyard will firmly grasp the main line of reform and development, strengthen its faith and forge ahead for long. On the basis of ensuring the high quality completion of 30 ships delivery tasks in the whole year, the Shipyard challenges itself to exceed the annual business objectives, and present a gift to the centennial of the founding of the Communist Party of China with its achievements.
