22000 dwt LNG dual-fuel hybrid chemical ship was selected as the "Top 10 innovative products in the shipbuilding industry in 2022"

The "Top Ten Innovative Products in the Shipbuilding Industry" network selection activity, sponsored by the China Association of Shipping Industry and aimed at publicizing the product innovation achievements of China's Shipbuilding Industry in 2022, has been successfully concluded recently. The "Top Ten Innovative Products in the Shipbuilding Industry in 2022" has been successfully selected, and our 22000 dwt LNG dual-fuel hybrid chemical ship has been listed, which was praised by the China Shipbuilding Association as follows: "The successful design and construction of this type of ship is an important achievement of Wuhu Shipyard's continuous promotion of product upgrading over the years, further enriching the product types of China's shipbuilding industry in the field of chemical ships, and providing a valuable case for the innovative development of similar shipyards in China's shipbuilding industry."

In recent years, Wuhu Shipyard, based on the development of high-end ship products, has jointly developed and built high-end liquid cargo ships and multi-purpose ships with domestic and foreign customers, and has achieved gratifying results. 2022 has seen Wuhu Shipyard successively delivered eight LNG dual-fuel, diesel electrical&battery hybrid propulsion chemical ships, LNG dual-fuel multi-purpose general cargo ships and ROLO ships, three LNG dual-fuel, diesel electrical&battery hybrid propulsion asphalt/product oil ships, one pure LNG&battery hybrid propulsion general cargo ship; At the same time, the company won six multi-purpose heavy lifting vessels with methanol main engine, diesel electrical&battery hybrid propulsion. All these ship types are in line with the development trend of green ships. Compared with similar ships, they are at the top of the pyramid. While increasing exploration in the combined application of different fuel types and various propulsion modes, the shipyard has carried out research on the application of more green and environmentally-friendly new ship technologies such as wind power and bubble drag reduction. In the near future, more green and environmentally-friendly ships designed and built by Wuhu Shipyard will sail far, and the innovative research and development road of Wuhu Shipyard will also be more fruitful.
