Recently, Mr. Feng Daolun, Dean of the College of Ocean Science and Engineering at Shanghai Maritime University, along with his delegation, visited Anhui Haizhi Equipment Research Institute. The two parties engaged in an in-depth dialogue on industry-education integration and university-enterprise cooperation, and successfully signed an industry-education integration agreement.

During the exchange, Dean Feng Daolun provided a detailed introduction to the college’s disciplinary strengths, faculty expertise, talent cultivation model, and achievements in translating research into practical applications. He spoke highly of Wuhu Shipyard’s rich heritage as a key enterprise in China’s shipbuilding industry and affirmed the company’s significant contributions to advancing the sector. Dean Feng also expressed admiration for Haizhi Research Institute’s role as Wuhu Shipyard’s scientific innovation platform, commending its focused approach to addressing cutting-edge demands and its strategic deployment in key technology R&D, which reflects both precision in positioning and dynamic innovation.

Currently, the shipbuilding industry is accelerating its transformation toward high-end, intelligent, and green development. However, there remains a relative shortage of high-end talent. This collaboration focuses on "collaborative talent development, joint innovation research, and shared system development," aiming to establish a long-term platform for synergistic growth between the enterprise and the university. Through concrete measures such as joint training programs, collaborative technological breakthroughs, and shared facility development, both parties will comprehensively deepen cooperation in talent cultivation, technological innovation, and team building. This will inject sustained momentum into the company’s high-quality development and jointly create a new collaborative, mutually beneficial, and win-win development framework between the enterprise and the university.
