The second session of the third company's worker representative congress was successfully held

At 13:30 on June 27th,along with the solemn sound of national anthem , the second session of the third company's worker representative congress was held in the training classroom of the No.1 new factory building. More than 80 representatives from the company's various fronts attended the meeting. The meeting was presided by Pan Yuhong, the administrative director of the company. Zhou Biren, secretary of the company's party committee, attended the meeting.

At the beginning of the conference, General Manager Zhang Zhao delivered a work report of general manager on behalf of the company. The report comprehensively and systematically summed up the company's work in 2018, made in-depth analysis of the company's work in 2018 and the internal and external situation, and deployed the key work in 2019. The report pointed out that all employees must eliminate empiricism, eliminate the mentality of always being kind, eliminate the fear of confronting difficulty, eliminate numbness, eliminate the fear of taking responsibility, eliminate the psychology of no cost. It also highlighted that we should change concepts and ideas. And on the basis of strictly controlling business risks, and ensuring the cash flow, we need to deepen reform in marketing, production and management and comprehensively improve the staff's executive capability, efficiency and benefits. I hope that all our worker representatives will lead the rest of employees, jointly work together, and work closely around the company's central task.

The conference recognized the company's work in 2018 and believed that under the company’s leadership, new progress was made in various aspects, new breakthroughs were made in operating orders, the sluggish inventory was effectively eliminated, and 28,000 DWT special coating ship and 1110 were successfully completed. 

The congress called on the staff, with Zhang Zhao at its core, with a high sense of responsibility and urgency, with a hundred times of confidence and courage to control business risks, deepen the potential of military products, consolidate basic capabilities, Improve operational efficiency, optimize

organizational processes, implement modern shipbuilding as a business idea, work hard, and strive to achieve various economic indicators in 2019, making the company a leading domestic, branded, distinctive modern shipyard. Thus we can return with excellent performance for the support

 conference listened to the "Trade Union Work Report" of the company third committee. The meeting held that the trade union committee should strengthen the organization of trade unions, earnestly perform its duties, safeguard the legitimate rights and interests of employees, actively create conditions to carry out the cultural life of employees, carry out labor competitions around production and management, care for employees' lives, and create a warm and harmonious environment. A certain achievement has been made.

It is hoped that the trade union, by focusing on the company's strategic policy, production promotion, skill competition, warm heart project and self-construction, will guide the employees to unify their thoughts and actions into the company's decision-making, give full play to the spirit of innovation and dedication, and improve the main position of the employees, thus realizing high quality development of the company.

The Congress deliberated and approved the "General Manager's Work Report", "Trade Union Work Report" and "Company Compensation Management System Report", and delivered the recommendations and proposals, and the implementation of the bill of the first session of the third worker representative congress. It was reported that the company should strictly abide by the two contracts and gradually improve employees’ benefits.

The conference supplemented the election of members of the new Trade Union Committee and members of the Women Workers Committee. Five members of the trade union committees including Wu Xiuhua, Liu Changwei, Guo Qingwen, Chen Yinfang, Fang Weilin, Pan Zhenhong and Deng Shuo were elected. Wu Xiuhua was elected as the new chairman of the labor union; Deng Shuo, Ye Min, Liu Tong, Cui Ling and Shi Mengjie were elected as members of the Women Workers Committee.

Finally, Zhou Biren, secretary of the company’s party, gave an evaluation of the work of the trade union on behalf of the company's party committee and placed hope on the new trade union committee. Mr Zhou pointed out that in the face of the severe ship market situation and the structural changes of the company's military and civilian ships, the pressure on survival and development of enterprises is greater, thus more output value and lower cost are needed to make a profit. To achieve sustainable development, and gain more opportunities and greater space to develop was only through reform to improve efficiency,and enhance the core competitiveness of enterprises. Confronting the situation, all the employees must be confident, take the initiative to change their concepts to meet new challenges,  prioritize the interests of the shipyard, strengthen unity and cooperation, dare to take responsibility, and faithfully perform their duties. Employee representatives were called on to play a good role as a bridge between employees and leaders, take employees’ reasonable suggestions and demands to the leaders for jointly discussing and solving out through the Committee. Thus the basic interests of employees can be assured and the ideas of leaders can be greatly implemented.

Secretary Zhou Biren pointed out that the external situation of the market is still grim in 2019. The internal reforms and production and management tasks are very heavy, and there are still many problems and challenges. All the employees must strengthen their ideals and convictions, be infinitely loyal to their careers, be passionate about their work, combine their personal goals, family goals and corporate goals, unite their strengths, give play to the pioneering role of the working class, forge ahead, work hard, and make greater contributions to realize the company 2019 goal, presenting  our outstanding achievements to the 70th anniversary of the founding of the People's Republic of China.
