Wuhu Shipyard launched the Thematic Party Day Activity for "Consoling the Red Army man and Listening to the Red Army Story"

On October 26th, in order to actively respond to the call for the theme of “Remain true to our original aspiration and keep our mission firmly in mind”, and inherit the red gene and promote social responsibility, the party committee and the committee of the company organized members of the branch to come to Hongde veterans of Binjiang Community in Jujiang District of Wuhu. They console the old Red Army soldiers, and extend cordial greetings and high regards to the ancestors who have made tremendous contributions to the cause of revolution and construction.

When walking into the Hongde veterans' home, the representatives of the party branch of the ship and the veterans conducted cordial exchanges and discussions. Meanwhile, they have sent cakes, fruits, quilts, as well as other condolences. And the veterans gave the revolutionary album in return to show their expectations.

Listening to the old Red Army soldiers recalling the vicissitudes of the Vietnam War, I deeply felt that the victory of the Chinese revolution was hard-won. The older generation of Red Army revolutionary soldiers made great contributions and sacrifices to the Chinese revolution. They are witnesses of history and ministers of merit and precious asset of our party and country.

“Remain true to our original aspiration and keep our mission firmly in mind”-- We must always remember the great merits of the old Red Army and the veterans, inherit and carry forward the spirit of patriotism. Let the revolutionary tradition and fine style of work be passed on from generation to generation.
