The protagonist of the "Looking for the Most Beautiful Worker" this time is Wang Qiang, manager of Post Production Module of Production and Operation Center, a "post-80s". He is an excellent representative emerging from the younger trend of the company's management team. He is proactive, his management thinking is in line with the company's management requirements, and he has made remarkable achievements at work. While strictly demanding himself, he has also done a good job at leading and managing his team and he has fully mobilized employees initiative and sense of responsibility. He has a solid professional foundation, can effectively deal with professional problems, organizes technical research, and meets product technical requirements and quality requirements well. He is well deserved as the most beautiful worker in Wuhu Shipyard. Let's know more about Wang Qiang and listen to the story about this Northeast boy.

Can to be "Captain Jack"

Then be the shipbuilder behind the Captain

Wang Qiang was born in Qiqihar, Heilongjiang. He was born at inland. He has long been yearning for the sea since he was a child. He had a strong interest in ships. When he was young, he dreamed of becoming a captain. When choosing a university, he naturally chose a coastal city and a ship-based college. In a spirit of being young, he gave up many shipbuilding companies in the north and went to the south to work hard with his university classmates. From 2009 to the present, he has dedicated his best 10 years to shipbuilding industry. Although he worked hard, he never regretted it. Wang Qiang said: "I like the sense of accomplishment after the completion of the ship construction. If I cannot become" Captain Jack ", then be the shipbuilder behind" Captain "!"

From north to south, chasing dream at Wuhu Shipyard

Wang Qiang joined Wuhu Shipyard in April 2016. This is the second station of his "down south" shipbuilding business. Unlike the previous one, after coming to Wuhu Shipyard, what he was most impressed was the strict standards, systems and standard operating procedures. He has experienced the craftsmanship of a century-old shipyard. In such a strong and professional shipbuilding and construction atmosphere, Wang Qiang's own management capabilities and professional skills have been greatly improved. At the same time, with the guidance and help of the company's leaders, he has achieved a series of "dazzling" work performances.

In January 2019, the sea trail of 79011PSV was successfully carried out. The PSV is the company’s azimuth thruster (DE) oil platform supply vessel. At sea trial, the owner GARDLINE sent three professionals to inspect the entire process of sea trials with extremely strict requirements. Since it was the first one of the same type built by Wuhu Shipyard, in the FMEA commissioning and testing, a variety of problems such as equipment interface signal source errors were found. Encountering these problems, Wang Qiang, with calm thinking, led the sea trial team, through day and night analysis and testing, to eliminate all problems. Then the sea trial was successfully carried out.

In February 2019, the 64,000DWT giant vessel "Zhong Hui 76" successfully crossed the bridge. The "Zhong Hui 76" vessel is the company's first ultra-wide ship, which is restricted from passing through the Nanjing Yangtze River Bridge. In order to ensure the smooth passage of the Nanjing Yangtze River Bridge, Wang Qiang led the team to work overtime before the ship left Wuhu Shipyard. For 3 consecutive nights, he cooperated with the company to complete the bridge plan, and developed a comprehensive navigation manual, which has accumulated valuable documents for other ships to cross the bridge later. At the same time, during the bridge crossing, he strictly fulfilled his responsibilities, assisted the chief commander in carrying out on-site command operations, and successfully completed the bridge crossing task of the first 64,000DWT vessel "Zhong Hui 76".

In October 2019, the delivery of 28,000DWT duplex stainless steel chemical tanker“Hai De Li”was successfully carried out. As the construction director of this project, Wang Qiang has made outstanding contributions from the construction to successful delivery.

"Hai De Li" is the first duplex stainless steel chemical tanker in Anhui Province. During construction, there are many difficulties and no experience can be used for reference. During the installation of duplex stainless steel, Wang Qiang strictly required the project team personnel to be familiar with the key processes of the duplex stainless steel, such as transportation, storage, protection, welding, acid cleaning, and passivation. And in the process he strictly controlled the quality, continued to explore and continued to innovate and improve, and finally make the tanker a masterpiece with the spirit of the century craftsmanship.

Wang Qiang led the 28,000DWT project team, giving full play to the spirit of the newborn calf without fear of tigers, daring to think, fight, and shoulder responsibilities. From construction to delivery, it only took 16 months, setting the record for the shortest construction time of domestic similar types of ships. He has accumulated important experience in the construction of duplex stainless steel and shortening the delivery period. At the same time, in the construction quality, he has been fully affirmed by the owner and the inspector!

Cherish the present and keep working hard

"After three years at Wuhu Shipyard, I have been a single ship supervisor for two years and module manager for one year, assisting department leaders to manage the department's work. The role change is not fast enough. I need to work harder to improve my management and business capabilities, cherish the current work, and do my job to the best possible level.

At present, the company promotes the shipbuilding efficiency through the "intermediate product-oriented" policy. I will keep up with the company's management needs. While practicing internal skills and improving personal capabilities, I will pay attention to the institutionalization and systemization of team management. I will devote myself to the work with full enthusiasm and implement the company's decision-making deployment. "
