Fighting high temperatures and grabbing nodes | Batch construction of 5,800DWT ice-class multi-purpose vessel starts

At 9:28 on August 20th, a new generation of 5,800DWT ice-class multi-purpose vessel (Ship number W1921, W1922, W1923, W1924) contracted by the company for WijinneBarends, a well-known European shipowner, Dutch shipping company, achieved batch start.

Ingenious manufacturing, High-end products

This ship is the first cooperation between the company and Wijinne Barends, a veteran European shipowner established in 1855, the Dutch shipping company, marking Wuhu Shipyard's successful entry into the European high-end ship construction field. The ship is 115.2 meters in length, 16.5 meters in width, 8.5 meters in depth, 6.20 meters in draft, and designed speed of about 14.0 knots. The power system adopts LNG and fuel oil dual fuel propulsion, and it can sail normally under 1AFS ice zone and -30℃ ambient temperature. It is expected to complete batch delivery in the first half of 2022.
