The Kick-off Meeting of 2021 "Safety Production Month" and "Environmental Day of June 5" Was Held in Wuhu Shipyard

June 2021 is the 20th "Safety Production Month" in China, with the theme of "implementing safety responsibility and promoting safety development".

June 5, 2021 is the 50th "World Environment Day", with the theme of "harmonious coexistence between man and nature".

On June 2, in order to improve the safety and environmental protection quality of employees, enhance the emergency awareness of all employee, and improve the ability of disaster prevention and relief, Wuhu Shipyard Co., Ltd. held the kick-off meeting of "safety production month" and "environmental day of June 5". More than 100 participants, including Yu Jiufeng, deputy General Manager of the group, Director of the Safety Committee, Li Wen, Director of the safety and environmental protection department, Zhang Zhao, Chairman and General Manager of Wuhu Shipyard, Miao Ke, executive deputy General Manager, department managers and leaders of labor service companies, attended the meeting.

Li Min, Minister of the Ministry of safety and environmental protection, read out the activity plan of "safety production month" and "environmental day of June 5" in 2021, focusing on the deployment of this activity plan, which will be carried out around three dimensions of safety and environmental protection education and training, special rectification of hidden danger investigation and special emergency drill. The aim of this activity is to improve the safety and environmental protection literacy of all employees, and realize the activity objectives of "implementing safety responsibility, promoting safety development" and "everyone participating in environmental protection".

Yu Jiufeng, Director of the Safety Committee of the Group, made important instructions on the activities of "safety production month" and "environmental day of June 5". First, on the basis of the standardization system of military work safety, the Shipyard shall integrate with the group's "5 + 1" safety and environmental protection system, and implement it according to the principle of "high standard rather than low standard"; Second, the Shipyard shall adhere to the "5S · 3" work as the management starting point, and improve the working mechanism of safety and environmental protection from the basic level; Third, the Shipyard shall focus on the trigger mechanism of security information from the organizational level. Make the incident transparent, timely response and accurate analysis; Fourth, the Shipyard shall focus on environmental protection. Focusing on the requirements of the May meeting of the group, the Shipyard shall pay attention to the standardized management of hazard sources under dual identification, and encourage all employee to participate in the identification of hazard sources and industrial "three wastes"; Fifthly, the Shipyard shall carry out various activities closely around the requirements of "five minds" (conscience, responsibility, diligent, perseverance and carefulness) of safety and environmental protection, establish standardized management, and realize "zero accident".

Finally, Zhang Zhao, Chairman of the board of directors and director of the safety committee of the Shipyard, made a summary of the activity from five aspects

1. Take the Safety Month and Environmental Day activities as the starting point, re-identify and control the risks with the mentality of "return to zero", and deeply investigate the stubborn hidden dangers;

2. It is about to usher in a high-temperature climate in June. Do a good job in heatstroke prevention, flood control, typhoon prevention and other related work in advance according to the seasonal special effects, and do a good job in the investigation of emergency supplies and have forethought preparation;

3. Keep up with the pace of production. In the near future, the Shipyard will complete nearly 18 production milestones. During this period, all centers / departments and managers at all levels should be busy but orderly, busy but not chaotic, and adhere to "safety first" from the perspective of cognition;

4. Pay attention to basic management. Shift team is the smallest cell of safety management in Shipyard, and all the work should be refined to team, landed to team and checked to team;

5.Environmental protection work. The Shipyard is built on the Yangtze River. In recent years, the Shipyard has made remarkable investment and output in environmental protection. We shall give full play to our own advantages, manage from the process and prevent from the source. We must put the concept of environmental protection into everyone's heart.

After the meeting, managers at all levels solemnly signed on the banner of safety activity month, which means that the horn of the activity has been sounded in an all-round way. Once there is war, there must be a decisive war; once there is a decisive war, there must be a victory war. We will practice the concept of safety first and celebrate the centenary of the founding of the Party with a green, safe, healthy and efficient growth process.
