On January 18, witnessed by ship owners, ship surveyors, and partner representatives, the No.18,523 of the 18,500-ton series chemical tanker was successfully launched from Shipway No. 3. As the first ship launched by the company this year, it achieved an exceptionally high launching evaluation, marking a resounding success in production at the start of the year. The vessel demonstrates outstanding craftsmanship, quality, and construction precision, setting a benchmark for subsequent shipbuilding projects. It has also injected strong confidence and solid assurance into the steady advancement of the annual production targets.

Building on the construction experience gained from the previous two vessels of the series, this ship has undergone iterative optimization, achieving a dual leap in both overall build quality and efficiency. Its block installation cycle was shortened by 20% compared to earlier projects, with piping and electrical installation rates exceeding 90%, and outfitting (hull) and machinery installation rates surpassing 95%. All pre-launch close-out tasks were fully completed, enabling the vessel to commence painting, sealing, and cabin closure work shortly after entering the water, thereby effectively ensuring the timely commissioning of the generators. Thanks to its robust construction standards, the vessel not only fully met the owner’s launching requirements but also set a benchmark example for high-completeness launching. Its launch evaluation score reached a historic high.
The vessel adopted the "One-and-a-Half Hull Construction Method," which maximizes the utilization of shipway resources and enables the efficient synchronous construction of two ships on a single shipway. This approach significantly enhances both shipway utilization and construction turnover rates, ultimately driving an approximately 30% improvement in overall building efficiency.
The successful launch of No. 18523 not only marks a breakthrough in production at the beginning of the new year but also reinforces the company's leading position in the construction of liquid cargo vessels. Moving forward, the company will conduct an in-depth review of the construction experience gained from the same series of vessels and fully implement the "modular unit construction" method, leveraging technological innovation to drive production efficiency to new heights.
