A strong start in Q1 ensures stability throughout the year. With a powerful start of "completing four vessels in quick succession," the Weihai Base presses the accelerator on first-quarter production. Where steel meets craftsmanship, a strong anthem of endeavor in the New Year is played, exemplifying the mission and responsibility of Wuhu shipbuilders through dedication and perseverance.

The 37,000 DWT asphalt tanker (Hull No. 2) was successfully launched, supporting the first-quarter sprint with this key milestone.

On January 28th, the launching ceremony for the 37,000 DWT asphalt tanker (Hull No. W23112) built by the company was successfully held. The vessel's cargo tank system is specially designed with two high-efficiency thermal oil heaters for heating treatment. This design not only ensures the uniformity and stability of the heating process but also precisely controls the temperature at a constant 180°C, thereby comprehensively guaranteeing the safety and quality stability of the asphalt cargo during transportation.

The 50,000 DWT MR oil tanker (No. 1) was successfully launched, contributing to the high-quality development of green shipping.

On February 9th, the 50,000 DWT MR oil tanker built at the Weihai Base was successfully launched. The vessel features a particularly unique cargo tank design, equipped with a total of 12 cargo oil tanks and two slop tanks. It incorporates design elements such as an inclined bow, a stern counter with a stern bulb, and a semi-spade rudder, effectively enhancing the ship's navigational performance. Furthermore, actively responding to the national "dual carbon" strategy, its power system consists of a MAN 6S50ME-C9.7-HPSCR engine and a scrubber, with spaces reserved for future carbon capture equipment and methanol tanks, meeting stringent environmental requirements.

The 89,000 DWT bulk carrier (No. 2) was successfully launched, combining high deadweight capacity with enhanced safety.

On February 12th, the 89,000 DWT bulk carrier built by the company was successfully launched. Measuring 229.00 meters in length overall, 36.00 meters in breadth molded, and 20.90 meters in depth molded, with a deadweight tonnage of 88,700 tonnes, it boasts a strong carrying capacity. It is among the first bulk carriers to feature a MAN methanol-ready main engine. The methanol tank is strategically designed and placed below deck, which not only saves space but also enhances overall safety performance, greatly improving navigation safety.

The 50,000 DWT MR oil tanker (No. 3) successfully commenced keel laying, with smooth and efficient multi-party collaboration.

Following the successful launch of the lead 50,000 DWT MR oil tanker, the third vessel in the series (No. 3) commenced keel laying on February 12th. The rapid achievement of this milestone is the result of close collaboration between various departments and an efficient production process, laying a solid foundation for the subsequent construction of vessels in this series.

The sparks from welding illuminated the snowy night sky, and the roar of machinery pierced through the biting wind. Every busy figure on-site embodied the "Wuhu Shipyard Speed" and "Wuhu Shipyard Quality." The successful achievement of three major milestones within just four days was underpinned by the deep-seated sense of urgency and responsibility ingrained in every Wuhu shipbuilder. From the slipway to the dock, from the blueprint to the physical vessel, this determination to battle the wind and snow reveals the Weihai Base's persistent pursuit to "build excellent vessels and establish a strong brand."
