Wuhu Shipyard Holds New Year Greeting Event for Veteran Leaders

On the morning of February 12th, the company invited retired veteran leaders to "return home" to reminisce about their years of hard work and witness the company's new look and progress. This warm gathering filled the winter days at Wuhu Shipyard with warmth.

The veteran leaders stepped into the company's history museum. The historical photos and physical models on display vividly illustrated the century-spanning journey of Wuhu Shipyard, also serving as marks of their youthful dedication and hard work. During the visit, the veteran leaders would stop and gaze intently at the exhibits, engaging in conversation with one another as they collectively recalled those pioneering years and marveled at the immense changes and development of the enterprise, their words revealing their gratification and pride. As they listened to the explanations, the accompanying family members also gained a deeper understanding of the pioneering work and persistent efforts of the older generation of Wuhu shipbuilders.

Mr. Zhang Zhao, the company's Party Committee Secretary and Chairman, extended New Year greetings to the veteran leaders and briefed them on the company's recent achievements.

Mr. Zhang Zhao stated that the company has surpassed the 10-billion-yuan output value mark two years ahead of schedule, officially entering the league of 10-billion-yuan enterprises, while also diversifying its industrial chain and planning a "second growth curve." He emphasized that these achievements are inseparable from the hard work and solid foundation laid by the veteran leaders, noting that the enterprising spirit of the older generation is Wuhu Shipyard's most valuable asset. Currently, the company is firmly advancing toward its "1537" five-year strategic goal, with every step forward embodying and carrying forward the legacy of the older generation of Wuhu shipbuilders.

The veteran leaders conducted an on-site visit to the slipway and dock. The well-organized production site, modern shipbuilding facilities, and the giant vessels awaiting voyage all showcased the strong momentum of Wuhu Shipyard's development.
