On July 24, the 6,600 DWT stainless steel chemical tanker M/T RF MAR was successfully launched at Slipway No. 4 of Wuhu Shipyard. Representatives of the Owner, the site classification surveyors, and members of the Company's project team attended the launching ceremony.

The RF MAR launched this time is the sixth stainless steel chemical tanker of the same series. Leveraging the mature experience accumulated from the construction of the previous five vessels, the project team reviewed past construction challenges, optimized construction processes, and achieved breakthroughs in both construction techniques and efficiency. During the berth erection phase, the project innovatively applied a three-grand-block construction method, completing the full hull integration in just 4 days.

The four erection sections, in coordination with various partner teams, launched an intensive assault on cabin integrity completion. All personnel worked around the clock, seizing every milestone. The engine handover was successfully completed within 5 days, and the launching milestone was achieved 37 days after handover. This significantly shortened the berth construction cycle compared to previous vessels in the 6,600 DWT series, accumulating valuable experience for the berth construction of subsequent vessels in this series and other similar vessel types.

Summer winds fill the sails as we embark on a new journey; hard work on this fertile ground yields fruitful results.

From block fabrication to grand block erection, we have continuously iterated construction plans and innovated building methodologies, accelerating the construction rhythm through repeated practice and steadily improving building efficiency. As construction experience from the series vessels continues to accumulate, the project production chain has been progressively streamlined and the management system continuously renewed. The acceleration of production has gradually shifted from periodic breakthroughs to normalized and institutionalized practices.

All Wuhu Shipyard personnel will continue to stay rooted at the frontline of production, persistently exploring pathways for process innovation and unlocking deeper construction potential. With a commitment to continuous improvement and adaptive change, we will keep setting new construction records and steadily advance toward ever-higher production efficiency.
