Recalling the past, with respect and hope, we actively responded to the call of the Party and the state and entered the great school of the Chinese People's Liberation Army. This opened a major turning point in life... August 1, 2019, the company retired military personnel, active military families, and workers whose birthday falls on the same day with the Army Day, gathered together at Wuhu Shipyard Co., Ltd. to celebrate the 92nd anniversary of the founding of the People's Liberation Army. Pan Yuhong, deputy secretary of the company's Party committee, and Wu Xiuhua, chairman of the labor union, and other leaders participated in the activity. 

Time flies. There are dozens of veterans in Wuhu Shipyard. Although the length of military service is different, and the time of entering the company is varying, we all have the same goal that is “do not change the ambition while transferred to civilian work, do not fall behind while discharged from the army.”"Unity is power unity is power, this power is iron, this power is steel, harder than iron..." Before the event, all the staff stood up and sang a song "Unity is power".  The song recalled the youth and the hard struggling blood of our soldiers. Sleeping on the ground, starving, rolling and climbing, we went through Gebi beach and Yalu River.

After an exciting military song, the veterans played interactive games on the spot. Our game "The Big Stomach" began. Each round competed with six people. Under the order of the host, the game began. The first was the balloon blowing. Whoever blew up first can start the next step, ate the chicken legs, and then finally drank a can of Coke. Who finished first was the champion. At the beginning, each one chased after another. After the last three rounds were over, the president of our labor union issued a souvenir for champions of each round. How happy it was to see the smile on their faces.

In the baptism of blood and fire, in the test of life and death, we went to the fire, risking our lives, wrote a magnificent praise song with the blood of youth, and experienced the ups and downs of the country and flourished development. Of course, we had a lot of emotions. “To be a soldier only has three years to regret, while not to be a soldier will regret for the whole life” this is the veteran Yang Guoqing said in his speech. Before delivering a speech, he made a familiar movement to veterans at present - military salute.  From a young and frivolous youth to a qualified soldier, one must experience a lot of unforgettable times. No matter in which position, we will write an extraordinary paean with youth and righteous ardor.

Not only the Chinese People's Liberation Army, but also some of our shipyard colleagues can celebrate birthdays with some of the most lovely people. I believe they are also honored. Wan Jianglin, on behalf of birthday birthday workers, delivered a speech. He was very grateful to the company for organizing the Army Day Party event, which allowed him to have a birthday with the military and made it more meaningful. While speaking, he started singing a birthday song, and all the people on the scene jointly celebrate the birthday of the People’s Liberation Army and the shipyard workers.

The company's Party committee and labor union have always been concerned with the life and work of veterans and active military officers. Pan Yuhong, deputy secretary of the company's Party committee, delivered a speech on behalf of the party Committee and managers. Supporting the soldiers and their families is a fine tradition of the century-old military factory. While celebrating the 92nd anniversary of the founding of the Army, we hope that we can bring the spirit “obey the Party’s command, can fight and win, and maintain excellent conduct”to the work.

At the end of the event, the birthday song started. Deputy Secretary Pan Yuhong personally distributed cakes for veterans, active military officers and birthday workers on the scene. They shared the glorious history of the founding of the Army for 92 years and sent souvenirs of the Army Day to all participants.

Celebrate the Army Day together and share the deep feelings of the past. Today was an unforgettable day. We celebrated the 92nd anniversary of the founding of the Army. In order to commemorate this wonderful moment, all of us gathered in front of the stage and recorded this wonderful moment with a camera. We also prepared delicious fruit and hearty meals for this event, let us spend a beautiful and memorable festival together here.

The People's Liberation Army is a people's army created and led by the Communist Party of China. In the past 92 years, it has unswervingly upheld the Party's leadership over the military, has been serving the people wholeheartedly, and has established immortal military exploits. In 2019, we are more closely around the Party Central Committee with Comrade Xi Jinping at its core.
