The company held a kick-off meeting of the 2019 annual quality month event

At 16：00 pm on September 3, the company's kick-off meeting of 2019 annual quality month event was held in Conference Room 303 of No. 1 Building. More than 20 people attended the meeting, including Zhang Hongyu, director of Production Operation Center, and module managers and members of the leading team of quality month event. It was hosted by Jiang Bowang, manager of the Technical Quality Center.

Manager Jiang first explained the purpose and the theme of the 2019 quality month event“benchmarking for improvement, quality improving for development”. Although we have mad some achievements in quality management work, there is still a big gap in benchmarking analysis in the fierce competition in the ship market. Through vertically benchmarking, the completion of our various quality indicators has become a focus of quality improvement, a short-board and bottleneck, restricting the company's innovation and development. The horizontally benchmarking of modern shipbuilding enterprises, the gap can not be ignored, and the company's quality managers should be ashamed and must have the courage to make improvement. In addition, the standardization and management of benchmarking, and the main business standard of quality at all levels of the company are in urgent need of improvement.The purpose of the company's quality month event is to create a platform for studying and implementing benchmarking, to promote the company's product quality and work quality to a new level in all round, and to create a atmosphere that"everyone cares about quality, everyone improves quality, and everyone enjoys quality", thus comprehensively enhancing the company's quality competitiveness.

Then the contents of the five major sections of the quality month event were interpreted from the perspective of the role of the leadership and the participation of the whole staff at the meeting. The setting purpose and specific requirements of the section contents were further clarified. At the same time, the problems existing in the daily quality management of each module were discussed at the meeting and a consensus on establishing key quality control points for key equipment has been reached.

Finally, Zhang Hongyu, director of the Production and Operation Center,  on behalf of the company's leaders put forward requirements for the quality month event. He said that if safety is the life of an employee, then quality is the life of the enterprise. Without good quality, the company has no efficiency. The original meaning of shipbuilding quality refers to the quality of the product itself, and the modern concept of shipbuilding quality is the quality of the ship for its whole life. Therefore, quality management refers not only to the control of on-site product quality, but more importantly, the work and management quality of the entire process. The quality management subjects at all levels must fully implement the five tasks in each work: with goals, plans, priorities, implementation, and improvement, which specifically reflected in work is with plans, organization, implementation, and tracking feedback. We must identify potential risks, make prevention and judgment, and transfer management focus to risk prevention. We must have emergency plans, respond and correct in time for the found problems.

Mr. Zhang emphasized that quality is not a quiet work, nor is it a one-man show of the Quality Department, but that the quality subjects at all levels play a leading role and drive the participation of all members. The company's military products business has made a breakthrough, and for the civilian products business, we have got several European orders with high standards and high requirements. Only all employees adhere to the quality policy of “with responsibility in heart, quality in hand, making first-class vessels with fine carving”,can we make excellent Wuhu vessels and create brand. Therefore, all departments should take the quality month as an opportunity to comprehensively improve work quality and management quality, continuously improve physical quality, enhance the company's core competitiveness, and promote the company's transformation, upgrading and innovation.
