At 11:15 on March 16, the 64000DWT huge ship "JU HE PU DU" built by Wuhu Shipyard built, with the joint efforts of all parties, has passed the Nanjing Yangtze River Bridge smoothly and safely, and started a new ocean journey!

In the face of the epidemic, we did not flinch. The smooth trial of the "JU HE PU DU" crossing the bridge gathered the efforts and sweat of all Wuhu Shipayard people. Since the work resumption, the company's operation and management team has led Wuhu Shipyard to bite the stated goals and not relax. Through accurate policy and scientific deployment, while doing a good job of epidemic prevention and control, it has quickly and orderly promoted comprehensive resumption of production and work resumption, with a rework rate exceeding 95%. It is far higher than the average level of 45% in the shipbuilding industry. At the same time, combined with the current overall situation of the company's prevention and control and resumption of work, the Wuhu Shipyard set off a production boom in a timely manner. The Shipayard has pressed the fast forward button to resume the shipbuilding speed. In 20 days, it has completed the SK728 offshore construction ship, 12,500DWT of GAO LAN 002 and 64000DWT of "JU HE PU DU". There are total three-ship trial and delivery nodes.

During the crossing bridge of the "JU HE PU DU", the Wuhu Shipyard received strong support and attention from all levels of government, maritime affairs, as well as railways.

In order to help our company ’s 64,000DWT “Juhe Pudu” ship go to sea safely and on schedule, the Wuhu Municipal Government arranged the Wuhu Maritime Bureau and the Wuhu Port and Navigation Bureau to help the company start the preliminary preparations, and discussed several times to formulate an implementation plan. It was considered that identifying safety risk points and disposal methods, refining emergency plans, organizing experts to conduct multiple rounds of demonstration, modification, and improvement to form the final draft for review. On the other hand, Shipyard has joined with the Anhui Provincial Department of Transportation and Yangtze River Navigation Administration of the Ministry of Transport to promote the review and approval procedure for the 64,000DWT "Juhe Purdue" ship crossing the bridge. On the afternoon of February 28, the Yangtze River Navigation Bureau took the form of a video conference to organize the holding of a 64,000DWT bulk carrier towed through the Nanjing Yangtze River Bridge Work Coordination Meeting. Jiang Zongfa, deputy director of the Anhui Provincial Communications Department, and Cheng Gang, the deputy government of Wuhu City Chief, Wuhu Maritime Bureau, Wuhu Port and Navigation Bureau, Wuhu Fishery and Fishery Administration Center and related experts reviewed the safety assurance plan and epidemic prevention and control plan for the towing of our 64,000DWT bulk carrier. The maritime department has focused on water safety. It is our duty to serve the economy. We have formulated transportation organization and maintenance programs, and fully cooperated and supported. After the meeting, Vice Mayor Cheng Gang of the Wuhu Municipal Government hosted the 4th meeting of the Nanjing Yangtze River Bridge Headquarters for the 64,000DWT bulk carrier of the Wuhu Shipyard in the meeting room of the Wuhu Maritime Bureau to make comprehensive arrangements for the bridge crossing work. And there is fine operation, flexible action and precise bridge crossing.

With the adjustment of the company's business strategy and the navigation conditions of the Nanjing Yangtze River Bridge, in the future, Wuhu Shipyard will focus on building orders for high-end high value-added tankers below 50000 DWT, as the largest tonnage sea vessel that can be built by the shipbuilding industry in Anhui province.
