Wuhu Shipyard Series Stainless Steel Intelligent Chemical Tankers Signed Successfully

On January 16, 2021, Wuhu shipyard Co., Ltd., Shanghai Dingheng Shipping Co., Ltd. and Jiangsu Financial Leasing Co., Ltd. held a contract signing ceremony for the construction of six stainless steel intelligent chemical tankers in Shanghai. Among the 6 chemical tankers signed this time, 5 are 6600 DWT diesel powered and DC electric chemical tankers, while 1 is 9000 DWT stainless steel chemical tanker of "ocean transportation ship hybrid power system development demonstration project" of Ministry of industry and information technology.

Intelligent ship type forms the wisdom crystallization of "100 Ship Plan"

Wuhu shipyard Co., Ltd. will build 6600 DWT stainless steel chemical series vessels based on the exquisite technology and rich shipbuilding experience of building high-end chemical tankers and Dingheng’s "100 Ship Plan". This series of vessels are characterized by high degree of automation, intelligence, energy conservation and environmental protection, as well as good cargo adaptability and high degree of localization. It realizes intelligent navigation, intelligent engine room, intelligent energy efficiency, intelligent cargo operation and intelligent information integration platform. Compared with similar vessels, it can save at least 15% fuel consumption under the same navigation condition, and reduce about 35% ship manning .
