Recently, Tri-water New Energy Technology Co., Ltd., under Wuhu Shipyard, has successfully won the bid for a comprehensive law enforcement vessel project for the entire Honghu Lake basin. This project will inject new digital and green vitality into ecological protection and law enforcement supervision across the Honghu Lake basin, marking a significant step toward upgrading inland waterway public service law enforcement equipment to "zero-emission and smart" standards.

For this project, Tri-water New Energy tailored a green and smart comprehensive law enforcement solution based on the terrain characteristics of the Honghu Lake waters and the operational requirements of law enforcement scenarios. The relevant technologies involved in this solution have already been successfully implemented and validated in the retrofit projects of public service vessels on the Yangtze River, demonstrating mature adaptability and reliability. The awarded comprehensive law enforcement vessel measures 33.35 meters in length, 6.00 meters in beam, and has a designed draft of 0.90 meters. It is suitable for navigation in inland waterway Class B zones and can accommodate 4 crew members along with 48 personnel on board, fully meeting the requirements for comprehensive law enforcement patrols across the entire basin.

In terms of environmental protection and power systems, the law enforcement vessel adopts a pure battery-powered DC grid propulsion system. It is equipped with two 130 kW propulsion motors and a 960 kW·h capacity battery pack, with a designed maximum speed of 18 km/h and a cruising speed of 10 km/h. Under cruising conditions, it offers an endurance of approximately 100 km. This enables zero-emission and low-noise operation, minimizing disturbance to the ecological environment of the Honghu Lake wetlands during law enforcement activities. The design precisely aligns with the national "dual-carbon" goals and the "Electrification of the Yangtze River" initiative.

The intelligent upgrade is a core highlight of this solution. The vessel is equipped with a new-generation "1+4+5+N" smart law enforcement platform, which integrates perception resources from four domains: space-based, air-based, land-based, and water-based. By leveraging core technologies such as intelligent sensing and cross-domain connectivity, and supported by optoelectronic evidence collection devices, a remote directional loudspeaker system, and a drone operation platform, it establishes an integrated law enforcement model combining "vessel patrol, aerial patrol, and shore patrol." Through this model, law enforcement personnel can obtain real-time inspection data, accurately identify targets, and rapidly deploy response forces. This effectively addresses challenges such as the vast coverage and complex terrain of the entire Honghu Lake basin, significantly enhancing the precision and efficiency of supervision.

Compared to traditional law enforcement equipment, this solution not only achieves dual breakthroughs in greening and intelligentization but also, by leveraging the integrated "cargo-vessel-shore-cloud" system, drives a transformation in Honghu law enforcement work from "reactive response" to "proactive prevention." This aligns closely with the core philosophy of ecological governance in the Honghu Nature Reserve. Industry insiders note that the implementation of this project will provide a replicable and scalable reference model for upgrading ecological law enforcement equipment in similar inland river basins across China.

Moving forward, Tri-water New Energy will proceed with the project implementation as planned, continuously deepening the research and development of core technologies for green smart vessels. It will focus on key scenarios such as inland waterway law enforcement and ecological protection, iteratively optimizing its solutions. At the same time, leveraging its ecological closed-loop of "complete vessels + core components + operations + energy + services," the company will support the modernization of ecological governance in inland waters and the intelligent upgrade of public law enforcement, contributing to building a new paradigm for green development that fosters harmonious coexistence between humans and nature.
