On February 10, Wuhu Shipyard Co., Ltd. held its 2026 Annual Management Conference and Commendation Ceremony. The conference comprehensively reviewed the company’s performance in 2025, conducted a precise assessment of the current development landscape, and systematically outlined key tasks for 2026. It called upon all employees to forge ahead with high morale and a pragmatic approach, striving to write a new chapter of high-quality development and secure a strong start for the 15th Five-Year Plan period.

Mr. Chen Weiping, President of Wuhu Shipyard, delivered the annual work report, summarizing the company’s achievements in 2025 and outlining plans for 2026. According to the report, Wuhu Shipyard recorded double-digit growth in revenue, profit, and output value in 2025, crossing the RMB 10 billion threshold two years ahead of target. The company has successfully cultivated a "second growth curve" and established a diversified industrial chain. Looking ahead to 2026, the report analyzed both opportunities and challenges, and set forth the year’s operational strategy centered on "Fast Delivery, Robust Systems, and Strong Collaboration". It emphasized the need to achieve annual business goals through the execution of "Seven Key Initiatives", while making headway on "Ten Strategic Battles".


During the Target Responsibility Signing Ceremony, representatives from the Shipbuilding Division, New Energy Division, Financial Division, and Ecological Business Group signed performance commitment documents with Chairman Zhang Zhao. Meanwhile, various business units and value chain supporting departments under the Shipbuilding Division signed their respective responsibility agreements with President Chen Weiping.



During the commendation ceremony, Chairman Zhang Zhao, together with heads of primary subsidiaries, presented awards to outstanding employees, rookies of the year, excellent craftsmen, and other winning individuals and teams.

In his speech, Mr. Zhang Zhao extended congratulations to the award-winning individuals and teams, and expressed gratitude to all Wuhu Shipyard employees for their dedication over the past year. He noted that 2025 marks not only the conclusion of the 14th Five-Year Plan period, but also a milestone year in which Wuhu Shipyard officially entered the ranks of RMB 10 billion-level enterprises. Over the past year, the company has continued to advance its strategic vision—thriving by the sea, strengthening along the river, and expanding into industrial clusters—with solid progress made in various strategic initiatives. Both development quality and comprehensive strength have achieved historic leaps, laying a robust foundation for the 15th Five-Year Plan period.Looking ahead to the 15th Five-Year Plan, Zhang emphasized that the company will conduct in-depth analysis of domestic and international economic trends, proactively confront challenges amid major transformations, and seek out new opportunities. He reaffirmed the company’s unwavering commitment to the "1537" five-year strategic goal, and stressed the importance of countering market uncertainties with internal certainties.
Mr. Zhang Zhao emphasized that all caders and employees must remain unwavering in taking Party building as the guiding force to consolidate development synergy, unify their thinking, align their efforts under the same blueprint, and move in lockstep to resolutely fulfill the annual tasks. He stressed the importance of upholding technological innovation and technology leadership, with a focus on enhancing the technological sophistication and market competitiveness of products, thereby supporting the company’s high-quality development with cutting-edge technological capabilities. He called for the continuous strengthening of management transformation, advocating cross-industry learning from outstanding management practices of leading enterprises such as Toyota and Huawei. Efforts should be made to advance process change and process reengineering, break free from mindset inertia, and establish an efficient, highly executable management system. He further emphasized the need to pursue both internal cultivation and external introduction of talent, accelerating the development of key technical professionals and interdisciplinary management personnel, systematically building a robust talent pipeline for cadres, and fostering more high-quality, specialized talent teams. He also underscored the importance of cultural reshaping, striving to enhance cultural soft power by eliminating six types of negative mindsets, cultivating a workplace atmosphere that is sunny, inclusive, pragmatic, and progressive. He called for deepening the connotation of “Happy Wuhu Shipyard,” promoting emotional connectivity and value co-creation, and building a community of shared interests, shared careers, and shared destiny among the company, its employees, and partners. Only by achieving symbiosis and shared growth can we jointly build a thriving Happy Wuhu Shipyard ecosystem.
The conference was held in a dual-venue format, both online and offline, with over 1,000 attendees including members of the management team, core heads of various business units, and individuals honored in the 2025 Commendation Ceremony.
